Behaviors that may Signify a Problem |
|
|
Children have a difficult time recognizing whether they have a vision problem because they have no basis for comparison.
There are several key signals that indicate vision problems:
- Rubbing of the eyes

- Complaining often of headaches
- Holding objects unusually close or far away
- Favoring one eye by covering it or turning the head
- Eyes are not aligned or are not working together
- Eyes are red, swollen or encrusted
- Your child experiences recurring stys or infections on eyelids
